The O2 brings NCAA college basketball to the UK with a one-of-a-kind double header on Sunday 4 Dec 2022.  The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame event brings four Division I college teams to London allowing basketball fans to catch some of USA’s brightest prospects in action.

Originally scheduled for Dec 2020 but postponed due to COVID-19, the revamped event will see Marist College tip-off against University of Maine at 3:30 p.m. GMT before the University of Kentucky take on University of Michigan at 6:00 p.m. GMT.

“The Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to celebrate the game on a global scale and we couldn’t be more excited to host four Division I College men’s teams in London this December,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

"The O2 is an iconic, world-class venue and we expect many U.S.-based fans will make the trip and support their teams abroad. We’re also looking forward to showcasing collegiate hoops to the local fans and growing the appreciation for basketball at all levels worldwide.”

The Basketball Hall of Fame London Showcase is part of the Hall of Fame’s series of collegiate events, which aims to celebrate and grow the game worldwide.
