Event Details
Gorillaz have confirmed their epic return to the live stage with a free show for NHS workers and their families on Tuesday 10 August at The O2. This very special show, to thank and recognise all NHS staff who continue to work tirelessly to keep us all safe, marks the reopening of the venue as well as the band’s first live performance with an audience in over two years and takes place the day before their scheduled sold-out gig on Wednesday 11 August 2021.
Gorillaz drummer Russel Hobbs said: “Reap what you sow, y’know what I’m saying? We don’t just want to say thank you, we want to do thank you too, because we care about the people who care for us.”
NHS staff in the United Kingdom will be eligible to apply for tickets. This includes but is not limited to doctors, nurses, porters, cleaners, support workers, paramedics, etc.
Ticket holders must bring their valid NHS ID or Primary Care Trust ID card or Blue Light Card (original format, no photocopies) to the event, or details of employment if NHS contract staff. Your ID must match the name on your ticket or admission will be refused. If you are allocated more than one ticket, your guest must be with you at the time of entry.

• For everyone’s safety and security it’s better if you do not bring a bag at all to the arena.
• We will only allow clear and transparent bags no larger than A4 size (20x10cm).
• If you have to bring a non-transparent bag with you, you can leave it at our bag storage facility just outside the main entrance to The O2 at a cost of £10 per bag.
• All bags will be searched and screened before being accepted into the bag storage facility.
• Backpacks, laptop bags, handbags and clutch bags are not permitted inside the arena unless they’re clear and transparent.
