Up At The O2 Serves Up Afternoon Tea With The Best View This Summer

Back by popular demand – Up at The O2 announces the return of

sky-high afternoon tea this summer, with extra climbs added

Up at The O2 is bringing back its exciting sky-high afternoon tea experience this August, taking the age-old British tradition to new heights. Following the hugely popular and sold-out event last year, Up at The O2 is celebrating Afternoon Tea Week once again this year, serving iced tea, scones, and the best view in the city at 52m above ground level.

Set atop the world’s most famous live entertainment, leisure, and retail destination, Up at The O2 climbers will be treated to a beautiful selection of precisely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, delectable cakes, and a refreshing Lipton Iced Tea when they reach the summit. Taking place during Afternoon Tea Week, there will be four sessions available to book in advance on Thursday 15 August at 14:00,14:30, 15:00 and 15:30.

Following a guided climb up and over the world-famous roof of The O2, climbers will enjoy extended time at the summit with some well-earned tasty treats and take in 360° views of Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and the Olympic Park – the perfect backdrop for a quintessentially British afternoon tea.

Climbs are available for those aged 8+ and are suitable for all fitness levels. Tickets for the afternoon tea climbing experience with Up at The O2 are £42 per person, and advance booking is required. Any dietary requirements will need to be submitted here by Tuesday 6 August.
